Hi, I’m Kerri. Some of you may know me as Kerri Anne.

In February of 2008 I purchased the first of many felt finger-puppet mustaches on a whim driven mostly by my enthusiasm for such awesomeness existing in this crazy, mixed-up world.

I was so! excited about my newest felt addition, and after staring at it lovingly for a few hours I still couldn’t decide who I wanted to send it to, so many friends and family came to mind, so many people out there I knew would share my enthusiasm for a felt mustache doubling as a finger puppet.

Rather than hoard all the faux mustache goodness to myself, I thought it would be great felt fun to start an online game of sorts, wherein after I take a picture (or seven) with it, I mail a felt mustache to one person, and they take a picture (or seven) with it and email me a copy of their favorite of those pictures, which I then post here. When they are finished with their respective ’stache they then mail it back to me, and I’ll send it to the next person on the traveling ’stache master list.

Thus began: The Sisterhood Of The Traveling ‘Stache.

Disclaimer: I am in no way attempting to suggest with that “sisterhood” part of the project that you gentlemen in the audience can’t participate, too. (I just like random movie references.) Because why take a picture of something you can grow yourself when you can take a picture with one made of FELT?
